Each player found on a particular sports poster will certainly represent a particular sport and what are these sports? Here are some of them.

1. Basketball. It is hard to imagine a hardcore basketball fan not having a poster of his favorite player and of course of his favorite basketball team. Sports posters depicting basketball players and teams are so far the most famous and in demand. This is probably due to the popularity of the sport.

2. Baseball. Another sport that is often depicted in posters is baseball with all American Baseball teams. Who can resist those hard hitting baseball players and fast pitching pitchers? In addition, baseball is the kind of sport that has stuck around for decades and baseball heroes have risen and fallen all throughout its existence.

Schools have included baseball in their gym class and often have baseball teams that compete against other schools both in local leagues and inter-state leagues. Many young baseball players have dreamed of one day becoming a part of the Major League and playing for one of the most famous baseball teams like the New York Yankees, Boston Red Sox and many more.

There is something about baseball that never fails to drag audiences to the arena or glued on their TV screens, even to the point of driving them to buy life size sports posters of their favorite team or player.

3. Football. To avoid confusion, when we speak of football we mean the American Football. Often times, people tend to confuse football for soccer which is somehow synonymous to people who are living in Europe.

Football is a full contact sport. Here you see humungous players tackling and falling on top of each other. There is no denying that this game can keep you on the edge of your seat.

If you are an avid football fan and has been watching the Superbowl, then I bet you have one of those football posters posted on the walls and even the ceiling of your bedroom. If you have a room filled with football collectibles, then the poster is surely one of them, especially if it is signed by your favorite football player.

4. Hockey. Like football, hockey is a full contact sport. When you play this game, you can't help but get a little bit hot headed. In addition, watching hockey players smoothly glide through the ice and making a goal is beyond amazing.

Little boys who grew up watching and playing hockey in school certainly has one or two hockey players they look up to and a poster or two of these players or teams can certainly be found in their bedroom.
